SCIENCE FOR KINDER AND MORE EMPOWERED HUMANITY

So many scientists and organizations have changed the way I look at the world thanks to the research work they have done that reveals the interconnectedness of all of life and the clear connection between the mind and the body.

I strongly believe that these scientific findings can help all of us live happier and more peaceful lives, as individuals, communities, and humanity.

The more people that understand these findings, the faster we will move toward a more loving and kind world.

Here's a link to an article series I wrote that explains how exactly science will help us do that.

If we want understand the nature of reality and the mind-body connection, we must be willing to  look at all fields of science through an interdisciplinary lens and to keep advancing the study of quantum physics, neuroscience, neurophysics, and epigentics so that we can understand ourselves better in the context of how interdependent all of life is.

If you find any of the science-spirituality topics I write about interesting, here is a list of a few websites that contain more of the science behind these concepts.

These organizations are deeply involved in helping humanity realizing its full potential as the conscious, mindful, loving, and aware beings that we are.

HeartMath Institute - Studying the connection between the heart and the brain, including the affect of our emotions and our ability to regulate our emotions.

Fetzer-Franklin Fund - Mission of advancing breakthrough towards more integrated scientific views of reality, exploring questions at the frontiers of physics, biology, and consciousness research.

Science and Nonduality - Exploring the connection between science, social healing, spiritual inquiry, and the arts.

Greater Good Science Center at University of California (Berkeley) - since 2001, the GGSC has been at the fore of a new scientific movement to explore the roots of happy and compassionate individuals, strong social bonds, and altruistic behavior—the science of a meaningful life.

UC San Diego Center for Mindfulness
- Expands on the scientific research behind how mindfulness improves overall well-being and increases altruistic behaviors and compassion through employing novel psychological, neuroimaging, and physiological methodologies in a multimodal and interdisciplinary approach.

UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) - MARC's mission is to foster mindful awareness across the lifespan through education and research to promote well-being and a more compassionate society by publicizing research to support the scientific benefits of mindful awareness and offering mindfulness tools and classes to support mental health professionals.

Mindful Self-Compassion Research - Research publications summarizing the effects and benefits of self-compassion.

Fritjof Capra - author of The Systems View of Life and The Tao of Physics. Focus on integrating the biological, cognitive, social, and ecological dimensions of life into one unified vision. Underscoring the interconnectedness of all life.
